As a kid, you would have been an entirely different person from the person whom you are right now. As a kid, you could cry asking for a chocolate even when there are hundreds of people around you, and as a person whom you are right now, even painful incidents make you just bleed internally, and we remain the person what we are, in order to live up to the standard we've set for ourselves. Many people call it maturity, but I call it modelling.
You all would have come across a particular stage in life ,most probably in your late teens, where you noticed that your behavior was childish, and so you made your behavior a little rational according to what being rational meant to you at that point of time. That would be the actual you, because you shaped your character with a simple concern that it must also abide with what the society needs . Then later you start observing things around you. Behaviors that gather attraction, attract you, and you meet lot of people, so you just opt some particular behavior from some particular persons, and that is what I mention as modelling. So finally, what you are currently is the modelled you, at least to some extent, be it the way of speaking, way of expressing, or somethingggggggg(You know what you are actually, nothing more I can say).
People say that by doing all these things, one can become a good human being, but life is not about being a good human being, it's about being yourself. I don't mean that adopting qualities from others is not acceptable. You like a behavior, or a way of approach, then it's ok. Never adopt something for the cause that it is appreciated.
Originality is praised for the sole cause that it is created, not modelled , AND SO IS LIFE.
